CLAYTON BASS: THE POETRY OF WILDNESS opens June 2 at Wilson Hall Gallery UAH
This solo exhibition of acrylic on canvas works takes the viewer on a journey from sweeping landscape vistas to intimate details of wilderness areas of north Alabama. SANCTUARY ARTISTS: THE ART OF NATURE Exhibition Opens June 2 Salmon Library Gallery UAH
The Sanctuary Artists' first exhibition, The Art of Nature, will be presented by the UAHuntsville Department of Art and Art History from June 2 through July 25, 2010 at the Salmon Library Gallery. The show brings together photography, ceramics, painting, poetry, short stories, scientific and historic information inspired by and telling the story of the Goldsmith Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary in Huntsville. The exhibition will open at the Guntersville Museum in August 2010 and the Carnegie Arts Center in Decatur, Alabama in early 2011. Other venues will be announced shortly.
